I’ve never excelled at science. I appreciate books that can relate science to the layperson like myself. Sean Carroll’s “The Making of the Fittest” is just such a read. It is clear and concise, but not as tedious as Eugenie Scott. It discusses the “fossil record” we find in DNA and how this documents evolutionary changes at the macro level.

Enjoy my friend.
