My own personal experience in tandem with interactions with people of faith has shown me that a lot religious followers are worshiping a belief in their god as opposed to worshiping the entity itself. The institutions, groups, traditions, bright and shiny things are really what these people are paying homage to despite proclamations otherwise.  They seem to be “hooked on a feeling, high on believing”.  It is a counterfeit philosophy.  Is it not?

Doesn’t this strike the central cord of the unbelievers’ message to people of faith?
