Something as seemingly important to mankind as God should not be ambiguous or mysterious, but should be as obvious and understandable as tap water; no need for Evian or Perrier either.

Well I think that something that is obvious is the universe itself and the laws that commands it. Thats as obvious as tap water and if you are a pantheist then yes god is obvious. Still what is the question or subject of the thread? God in a sentence? Okay. The source of this unbroken whole we call the natural world. Simple. Easy.
Can you reply to my post http://www.samharris.org/forum/viewthread/17334/

Actually, I still don’t understand how the water pressure works to any meaningful description…

Nothing is simple even a small molecule like water still holds many mysteries we have yet to unravel.

To be fair, I think you’ve missed my point. Water is ubiquitous and covers over 70% of the Earth’s surface. It’s obvious to everyone. We need it to exist. Yes, there are mysteries yet to solve. We know so little.

My apologies it’s something I do sometimes I’m apt to jump to conclusions often the wrong ones.
I find this whole site interesting but tend to avoid long blogs which I soon get lossed in. Its a bad habit I do it in novels skipping certain what I consider to be uneeded bits.

we do not need a superintelligent being to explain how such happen. tap water can be understood through natural laws
