Jon Stewart lays absolute waste to the birther movement.

I know it’s such a pointless and ridiculous movement anyways, but Stewart destroys every aspect of it. This is a hilarious clip pointing out the countless absurdities it the birther conspiracy. I suggest you watch it if only for the laughs.

Yeah, normal people would assume it was over once he handed over his birth certificate. These people are ridiculous, they don’t seem to realize that if if Obama wasn’t a citizen, McCain would’ve been ALL OVER IT, it would’ve been an instant win for McCain. And before that Hilary would’ve been all over it because it would pretty much give her the nomination hands down.

It’s just like religion. Despite the evidence, they still believe.

Lately, the republicans remind me of a drowning man. They are kicking, screaming, and splashing, none of it’s rational, and none of it will do them any good, it’ll only make them drown that much faster.

Yeah when they should be tying their pant legs in a knot and using their pants as a flotation device.  Oh wait, that was in the Navy.  Nevermind.

Yes, that was a good piece by Stewart.  Sometimes comedy is the best medium to address “serious” issues in the media, especially nonsense like this.  Chris Mathews pwned G. Gordon Liddy on the issue too.  In that piece, Liddy was the source of comedy, however unwittingly.

I would not contend that watching ONLY the Daily Show and Colbert Report makes one well-informed, but I am of the opinion that it is difficult to be fully informed without adding these two programs to one’s list.

I agree, it may be a fake news program, but there’s a lot of truth hiding in the comedy. Satire is a good medium for criticizing politics, media, and current events. By the way Jon Stewart was voted “Most Trusted Man in America” or “Most Trusted News Caster” or whatever it’s called now, so that shows many people apparently feel the same way. He was up against Brian Williams, Katie Couric, and Charlie Gibson, and he took 44% of the vote.

Here’s some more proof Obama was born in Hawaii:

That article was posted today, however I doubt the birthers will let the facts cloud their judgment. And just for good measure, here’s a MOUNTAIN of evidence from factcheck.org.
