What happened to the Samharris.org forum site?  I took a look, found I was the only active member on-line, did see some tracks from SkepticX but no one else leaving trails.  The place seemed empty.  Lots of bot members apparently, but little on-going discussion.  Felt lonely, so promptly came back here.

There was only ever the same small group of people there as here. The no notification for a year bug killed it and everyone migrated here.

Thanks.  Have not visited there for some time and the site seemed like a ghost town.

Most of the time it’s pretty slow. There’s intermittent traffic, though, and some old timers show up over there on occasion who maybe haven’t ever made the transition (saw something recently posted by HampsteadPete the other day). Some, I expect, have just come over here covertly and in disguise and all that kinda shite though. For all we know you could be HampsteadPete, for example, just in sheep’s clothing ... eh?

And finally, I love Mr. Zen’s new avatar. It is workplace-gorgeous. Perhaps Bob could post a 500 x 500 version as a post attachment so we can ‘zen get a better look.

Thanks Nhoj! We all get tired of having to look at god’s ass and after a while I got the feeling that it was watching me . . . so, blessed as we are with the powers to annihilate and to create I got rid of the bum!

This posted version is a snapshot of the sun through a window casting some interesting light patterns on the painting.  Thunderbird does get a lot of attention, but I am really no painter at all.

At last, finally, I have fallen silent after several weeks of trying to blurt out a fifteen-year project. Work has finally caught up with me. No more posting until I finish two projects. But there are fun threads afoot, and I think I going to explode.

But first, I caught up with The Mabus over on The Harris Forum while casually making fun of Mr. Burleson’s name. I was granted an interview and jumped right on the phone. We spoke for only a moment, but it was easy to read the desperation in his voice in that brief part of the message when he says his name. Before I could fire off my first question, he said his voice mail is full. I don’t doubt it.

Here’s the gist of it:

In order to shore up his sagging ratings, “The Bobo Show” creator and star Dennis Markuze has started a phone-in hotline for fans. I assume this a chance for fans to have some input on future episodes and give some feedback or blowback on his show in general. He specifically mentioned targeting a demographic he identified as “cowards”, so let’s make sure he gets some solid info on that.

Mabus the Bobo Hotline- 1-514-808-4862

Also noteworthy is the passage of the 100,000 milestone in membership which I’m told is when a site really starts attracting some bots. At least they’re atheists.

Nobody posted. The super adminstrator was logged in. I found nothing to crash.

I thought I had executive access. I know not.

They do not have a hundred thousand bot members either.

On late night spam patrol:.

Have you noticed the membership has doubled since February? 100,000 bots in 4 months?! We’ll have half a million by the end of the year. What’s it FOR?? 200,000 salesmen knocking at 25 doors. Who do they think is here? Why do think we need so many golf clubs?

Charge a small registration fee and we can all retire.
