“All that stuff I was taught about evolution, embryology, Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell,”

Bit of a silly thing to say….  red face

That’s stupidification—when someone’s functional IQ takes a serious nose dive specifically concerning a sacred cow/pet theory, or of course sacred cows/pet theories.

The petition is a flicker of hope ... I mean, with more than one nut-bag infiltrated on the science committee and the results of the poll referenced in the story ...

So, how does a politician get on this committee? Appointment I would imagine?

If ever there was a litmus test for an appointment it should be for this one.

How would a public servant get on a Science committee who understood and accepted nothing about mainstream science?

This is beyond asinine. it is or at least should be, embarrassing for this entire nation.

The rest of the advanced world looks at our country and government in dismay, disgust and disbelief.

Incredible! How can this be happening in what is (was?) the world’s most advanced nation? This does not auger well for the future of the secular democratic, knowledge based way of life.

So yeah, I agree, get him off that committee. Are there not other committees he could serve on where he could do no harm?
