I had to argue with my Aunt few days back on her Facebook post “Goliath’s skeleton found by Biblical scholars”. Technically anyone could easily crush that post if you have read the David-Goliath story at least once or if you have done basic research on how something is made relevant with Archeology.

In no time i found many of my relatives sharing the post and reposting it before even thinking.

How is it possible to teach the next generation, its important to do some research before you spread a news? And why its important? In current world, social media have became the alternative for word of mouth. 1000s of my Muslim friends shared the post on muslims being massacred in Myanmar by Buddhist with the photos of Sky Burial done in China after an earth quake.

Us also need an avatar. No one takes anyone seriously that doesn’t have a profile picture.
