Problem with this is that it unfair to Jesus, he’d probably get along pretty well with Socrates and be horrified at the words put into his mouth by latter day Christians.
I’m not sure I quite agree with Burt, but I think he’s right about the Jesus character not necessarily being well represented. The problem is which Jesus? It should be specified that it’s the Fundies’ Jesus—then it’s pretty solid.

I would guess that it’s the Jesus of Paul’s Epistles.
In any case, Jesus in the piece sounds like he is talking about an abusive spouse, someone who says things like “You made me hit you.”
