Is cannabis really a greater danger to society than alcohol? The fact that alcohol is legal but cannabis is not implies so.

I propose an experiment to determine whether this is in fact true, an experiment that can be conducted right here on this forum. The experiment would consist of two threads, both on the same topic, or maybe different topics, but with the key difference being that posters on the Drunk Thread would have to be drunk to participate, whereas posters on the Stoned Thread would have to be stoned. We could then compare the discourse on the two threads and draw conclusions about the relative impact of alcohol and cannabis thereon; and, extrapolating, on human behavior in general. Are laws against cannabis, but not alcohol, justified?

Anyone interested in participating? You’ll have to be willing to get good and drunk or stoned before posting.

You providing the weed?

It’s Friday afternoon and safety is the name of the game. The more you know, people!

During the summer, I think it’s important to stay safe all through the weekend.

Yoga is a safe place for me. I like to really stay safe during light workouts in general.

I went out and came home and I’m safe now. Really safe! The problem with you Pussies is that you couldn’t debate me in your wildest dreams let alone being a little tipsie.

I won’t be safe until after I’ve put the horses in for the night… after that, I’ll be safe.

“Nobody is not addicted, Frau Throwdare. And you, pretending to be some sort of a yogi now, a vegetarian, non-smoker, non-drinker, non what ever, isn’t what this is all about. Nobody is happy. And so aren’t you. What’s your problem? I haven’t understood it yet.” (Dr. Justus Engelhardt, paraphrased by me, his former client. Said by him kinda sorta like this, after we engaged each other for some years already)

“I haven’t smoked in 13 years, 2 months and 5 days”...  (a chap could die of not smoking)
