It is my favorite season 1 of any show I have ever watched.  The combination of philosophy and sci-fi is what lured me in, but Jonathan Nolan’s seamless storytelling amidst weaving plotlines and timelines is superb.

What are your thoughts?  It is hard to determine who would like this show and who wouldn’t, I have some friends that didn’t like it despite the philosophical underpinnings.

Very enjoyable series.
Anthony Hopkins is, as always, awesome.

Don’t expect the squaring of the circle, though.

Yeah, Anthony Hopkins’ performance was superb, as was Ed Harris.

There wasn’t a single person cast in the show that created a weak link in terms of acting.  I can’t imagine how challenging it must have been for some of the actors in what they had to portray.

I really enjoyed this series too. Watched it from start to finish, then from start to finish a second time. In a way, it’s almost better the second time. There are lots of little details in the earlier episodes whose meaning only becomes clear with the benefit of the later ones. It’s like a puzzle—or a maze.

The role of Dr. Ford seems tailor made for Hopkins. It’s hard to imagine how the second season will be able to live up to the first without him.

I can’t wait for season 2! Whether Hopkins is in it or not, It’s still gonna be good.  One thing I really enjoy about the show is the music!  Ramin Djawadi is an incredible composer.  I even like watching some of the covers of the theme music on youtube.  This one Westworld theme acapella cover I thought was really good!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXqAUd88BH0

I agree - it’s a great series, and I’m also looking forward to season 2.

This is one of my favorite shows. The length of time you have to wait between seasons is infuriating! smile I quite enjoyed both seasons, though. Season 2 was perhaps not quite as good. I need a re-watch. Great show, though.
