It’s good news waking up this handsome everyday.

Third World Problems include not having food, water, sanitation, medication.

Second World Problems include not having political freedom and democracy.

First World Problems include not having a comfortable Business Class airline seat.

Zero World Problems include not being as handsome as Jb.

My First-world problem: I scored a ticket to a sold-out show in Baltimore tomorrow night; but my iPhone is currently out of service because (long boring story) I had to request a full restoration of my iTunes account, which can take several days. So I’m gonna have to borrow my wife’s phone to be able to text & find the guy with the ticket once I get to Baltimore.

I am very, very grateful that THIS is the most complicated problem I have to deal with this week.

Update—I made it to Baltimore with my wife’s phone, found the guy, got the ticket, and saw the show.

Band took the stage at a quarter after 9 and played straight through until midnight. 2 hours and 45 minutes with only one 2-3 minute break. I was up front, club holds 400 people and as noted it was sold out. Drove back to Virginia after; got home at quarter to 2 AM.

Made it to work on a few hours sleep. I wisely only had a couple beers so at least I got good sleep. That was my first show in years in a mosh pit, although it was a pretty contained and tamed on, and managed not to get knocked down or foot-stomped or whatever. My voice is shot and my ears are still ringing. But man that was fun!

And no alt-right or antifa goons to beat you over the head or shoot you. That’ got to count for something, too.

I’ve worked back to back to back eighty hour weeks. It’s left me no time for skin care. And I know you know how little I like to work that much.

Doesn’t have to be soccer, find a water polo club.

I’ve had to take a break due to injury & recovery from surgery. Currently doing some PT to try and get my right ankle back into working condition.

Water polo looks exhausting.

I suffered a career ending shoulder injury while playing water polo back in 2001.  Something to do with a rotator cuff, and throwing has been painful ever since.  sick  I really miss it.

My youngest son is into baseball and I can play catch with him for about 50 easy throws, nothing with heat or my shoulder is in pain for hours.

Ugh. That’s a bummer.

It’s anything but guaranteed that I’ll play soccer again. Right now I just want to be able to walk long distances at a decent pace without back pain (my uneven gait causes that). Being able to get back on the field would be a bonus.

I turn 50 next month; it would be nice to continue going on long walks with my wife for many years to come.

That’s why I take my agression out on you guys.

I find other things to do, and if I really wanted, I could still coach or ref, but I don’t and blame no one but myself.  I’m cool with it.

So you drown your misery and pain in glass upon glass of booze every day.  You poor, deranged human being.

(I was getting bored with water polo, so I decided to write a couple of sentences of your story to spice things up a bit).

I don’t mind some creative license to rev up a boring story.

I misplaced your recent order.  Is it the Korean or Indonesian gay kiddie porn movies you prefer?

I trust you to make the right decision.
