Been working on a handful of creative projects, and haven’t really had time to post much.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Jefe!  Good to hear from you; I’ve missed your posts.  There are a few others who also haven’t been posting lately; sometimes it can be fairly quiet around here.  Hope you’ll have time to chime in again now or soon.  I also hope your projects (any details?) are going well.

Jefe stood me up for a beer in Calgary.  When he doesn’t want to talk to someone, he just disappears.  I was frightened in Calgary, with all those Canadian cowboys at Stampede.

Hey, I’da thought you’d be used to rowdy cowboys in Texas?

Not sure how much I’ll be posting, Jan.  I find some of the topics around here to be exhausting, and non-productive.

I have several prototypes of hobby board-games that I’m trying to get published.  It has taken me a lot of time and effort to get prototype to playable states and I’m hoping for a big push in 2019 when I do the pro-tour circuit - meeting publishers to pitch my game prototypes to.

For those who don’t know, hobby board-games are not like monopoly.  Also referred to as euro-games, they are the kind of gaming experience where everyone plays until the end of the game and success is then measured or finalized for all players at the table.

Sounds like this made quite an impact on you.  Next time you’re in town or if I’m in central texas, we may have to correct the problem for you.

Yeah, I know what you mean about some of the topics, but it can sometimes depend on how many participate to offer their varied viewpoints.  The more the merrier, I’d say.

I just did a quick wiki read of ‘eurogames’ – they sound interesting, a lot of fun and great for socializing.  It must be quite complicated and challenging to design such games.  And of course, creative.  Good luck with publication.

Canadian cowboys are scary. They are nice. Very hard to figure them out.

Don’t make any promises you can’t keep, now.  But if you are serious, I’ll remember this.

Nice of you to drop a line.  Don’t be such a stranger, and stay out of trouble!  I’m tired of your midnight calls to bail you out of the ridiculous predicaments you get into.

Hey Jefe, you’re still looking as bright eyed and bushy tailed as ever and yep, wet nosed. Good to see you.

That reminds me.  I need $50 cash, a can of WD40, and some bungee cords by Midnight or there will be hell to pay.

Good to see you too, you semi-ambulatory primate, you.  Keep up the mastication for us all, would you?

On the other hand, bad decisions lead to good stories, so keep me on your phone list.
