NCAA football has 3 divisions. The lowest - Division 3 - is made up of small universities with no scholarships.  I got my undergrad degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB), a small Baptist school in my town. They are playing this Friday night in the Stagg Bowl for the National Championship - for the third straight year. They won it in 2016, lost it in 2017, and now have a chance to win again.  The game this year is near Houston, so I’m going. Their opponent is Mount Union in Ohio, who has won about a dozen championships. UMHB has the best record over the past 15 years of any school at any level in Texas.  It’s good, hard-nosed football.  Watch it Friday night for a good time.

My team, University of Mary Hardin - Baylor, won the D3 football National Championship tonight, beating Mount Union 24-16.  Great game - quite cold for Texas - 46 degrees - but good weather . It was fun.
