dump is an honest-to-goodness, full blown narcissist. In many ways he’s an idiot. But narcissist’s do have some special talents, and one of them is that they have uncanny abilities to manipulate people.

So as I read his letter to Pelosi my biggest reaction was “lots of people are going to buy this load of bullshite”.

I wonder if teaching “the masses” about narcissists might help expose this evil demon?

It looked like Pelosi was trying her best to hold back a smile when she slammed the gavel.  Although she claims the mood is somber, she smirks and some in the crowd applaud.

I kind of liked the Rep from Hawaii’s reasoning behind her “present” vote. She favors censure and she calls out the partisanship.

But even if we were to agree that Pelosi is horrible, that doesn’t detract from the OP. If we could all spot narcissists and understand how problematic they are, we’d be better off.

I was going to post about Pelosi because I got a good laugh out of it.  Figured it would fit in this thread.  I don’t need any more proof of Trump’s narcissism, but after just reading the letter it’s pretty tame for him.  Or maybe I’m just used to it.

It’s hard for me to see how people can support him as a person.  I suppose I can understand why they might want him in because of tax cuts and court appointments, but to defend him as a person in inexplicable. Before the election his now Chief of Staff called him “a horrible person”.  Cruz called him “a pathological liar”.  Now they lick his butt.  I just don’t get it. If they are doing it just to keep their jobs, that makes them as horrible as him.  This is how evil gets a foothold in a nation.

Whilst people like you notice and discuss his weight, his hair, his sneering manner of speech, his rhetoric; Others noticed how he was the first President to speak up against the disgusting dishonesty of political correctness and out of control illegal Immigration. We all complained about the Government, the establishment, but he took on the establishment.

You may not like his style, but may be, JUST may be, that is exactly the kind of style needed to take a sledge hammer against the entrenched bureaucracy and the political establishment. No one else could have survived the traps set for him to fall into and never to recover.

AND ... by the way….I don’t think you are looking for a list like this but here it goes anyway.

  Signed Right-To-Try legislation.
Secured $6 billion in NEW funding to fight the opioid epidemic.
We have reduced high-dose opioid prescriptions by 16 percent during my first year in office.

Withdrew from the horrible, one-sided Iran Deal.
  Moved U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
Protecting Americans from terrorists with the Travel Ban, upheld by Supreme Court.
Issued Executive Order to keep open Guantanamo Bay.

Merry Christmas!

Just off the top of my head:

- Celal, you did an incomplete job of copy/paste/editing of your list. Can you just provide a link? I’m betting it came from the whitehouse.
- We know that economies never turn on a dime, there is always substantial lag time. I would bet that most of the indicators of a strong economy came from Obama’s policies.
- Your list would be stronger if it didn’t include strawman claims.

Mr Horse, I took it for granted you would have understood the tediousness of writing out things that I already knew. Long list. It is outdated because it is from the Whitehouse.gov site. But I stand behind the claims. Only you would have issues with the Economy doing well. Worse yet, credit Obama for it. What bullshit!

Obama, as was many before him, was a figure head who read the scripts that was put before him. I don’t think Obama had any experience even running a 7/11 or meeting a payrolls. Trump is a businessman and understood the value of rolling back the red tape that burdened the American Businesses. He led the way in historic cutbacks on regulations as he promised. He is the only President in my lifetime who remain loyal to his campaign promises. The only connection to Obama is that Obama era regulations chocked the American Businesses, Trump instead unregulated and let the businesses prosper.

BTW, per OP,  if you think his letter to Pelosi was Bullshit, consider yourself a verrrrry low information voter in addition to being a fan of the socialist candidates like Sanders and Warren for the promise of free handouts that might come your way.

most of the points are lies and/or completely unverifiable.

None are very impressive.

How is North Korea doing? Have they given up their nukes yet?

It’s inflated growth, not solid growth, and what inflates either pops or deflates.

Most of Celal’s list got started under Obama, but he got none of the credit from the right when he did it. Celal’s list is also off topic.

Celal, I’ve asked you this before and you’ve always dodged it. I’ll ask again:

Why does Trump (and the right-wing pundits) no longer cite the “out of the workforce” statistic?? Trump campaigned on the “fact” that there were 94 million people out of the workforce, and THAT figure - not the “fake” unemployment rate - was what really mattered. He cited that one statistic as clear evidence of Obama’s failed economy. But now he seems to have changed his tune. What gives? Why is Trump no longer concerned that there are STILL 94 million people out of the workforce?? And how could the BLS unemployment rate suddenly become legit?

So half your list is automatically rendered moot. And the other half is suspect in one way or another.

Ron

PS - Here’s another Trump accomplishment you left off the list:

- Admitted to running a crooked charity scheme in which money intended for veterans groups were used for his own personal benefit (paying off personal debts, purchasing a Tim Tebow helmet, purchasing a $12,000 portrait of himself, etc.). Paid $2 million in fines and his kids were court mandated to attend training to ensure they do not engage in similar misconduct in the future.

I have many more of these wonderful “accomplishments” if you’re interested.

An op-ed in Christianity Today, an evangelical magazine founded by Billy Graham, argued that Trump should be removed on moral grounds.  The evangelical foundation may be cracking a bit. He can’t afford to lose too many of them.
