In some parts of the World it is called “erosion”. That is what nature does naturally.  The man co exists with the nature, not able to control it.

Indeed, rising sea levels will probably exacerbate erosion, but the two are not the same. Do you think the Maldives problems are primarily erosion problems? Or are you perhaps guessing that the Indian Ocean’s sea level can rise without impact the Atlantic’s sea level?

I’m thinking that man should have been able to prevent the Continental Drift across the earth’s surface through geological time . But they did not know what the liberals know about the nature and man’s ability to control it.

It is always curious that man thinks they can control the nature but not able to maintain the front doorsteps crowded by junkies, homeless, rat infested neighborhoods. Usually these groups of people are one and the same. Failed cities and the Climate Change activists.  I suppose you can rationalize that one takes your mind off the other,

A fella could sail oil tankers through the holes in those arguments.

https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/life-unbounded/the-crazy-scale-of-human-carbon-emission/

Current data (from direct measurements of the atmosphere to historical records of industry) tells us that between 1751 and 1987 fossil fuels put about 737 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. Between just 1987 and 2014 it was about the same mass: 743 billion tons. Total CO2 from industrialized humans in the past 263 years: 1,480 billion tons.
