Hi everyone,
I’ve recently discovered Sam Harris’s books and debates by discussing agnostic/atheistic books, podcasts and videos on facebook, like Dawkins’s works or Kyle Kulinski’s “Secular Talk” channel. As I’ve never heard that name before, I went to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised with what I found, especially the fact that he’s not afraid to criticize Islam, unlike many atheists, who don’t want to “compromise” their progressive beliefs and end up accepting this religion’s nonsense, while vehemently denouncing the nonsense from every other religion.
I had ordered a couple books but didn’t recieve them due to the coronavirus outbreak (and I’m not really into reading on screens), but I compensate by watching debates and conferences.
Apart from that, I’m 39, work as an interpreter and am living in Russia right now, although I’m from Belgium originally.
See you soon on the forums!
Greetings and welcome to the forum.
welcome. dive right in!
Welcome. I look forward to your contributions to the forum. Beers are in the fridge, help yourself.
Thanks to all of you for having me over! Man, atheist communities are much better than Christian ones, you’re offered beers, not thoughts and prayers!
