Trump didn’t want to upset his BFF, Vladimir, by confronting him on it.

So you lose a few American soldiers here and there.

No biggie.

According to Republican ‘Benghazi’ protocol, there must now be (up to) 8 investigations until Trump is found guilty, right?

If only Bolton could have told the House during Impeachment about this.

Oh wait - he totally could have and chose not to.

The likelihood of Russians putting a bounty on American soldiers in Afghanistan is very plausible, and the likelihood anyone in military intelligence knew about it should be obvious, since Americans and Russians have been fighting proxy wars since 1945.

The likelihood Trump does not know this is zero.  What is a crime is to buddy up with a long-time enemy before settling animosities, and pretend ignorance of animosities.  We did not need to know about the bounty to know Trump is Putin’s bitch, since Trump’s actions claim.  What is most remarkable is that Republicans have nothing to say about Trump’s friendship with their constant enemy.

What did Trump do when Iran did the same thing with US soldiers in Iran?

That’s right, use Cruise Missiles to kill the guy in charge of financing attacks on US troops.

It’s almost exactly the same scenario.

Maybe the claim is fake?  Maybe the claim is a misheard rumor?  This story seems to to plausibly refute the bounty claim.  It’s difficult to know what to believe in these days of constant deception.

https://news.yahoo.com/russian-experts-taliban-bounty-report-163004267.html

But the accusation that a Russian GRU military intelligence unit has been paying Taliban-linked militants $100,000 “bounties” for killing American soldiers has blindsided official Moscow. And even the Kremlin’s critics in the expert community now complain that U.S. intelligence about Russia has become completely detached from reality. Instead, they say it serves only to fuel what they describe as a political civil war between President Donald Trump and his opponents in Washington.

“It is not in Russia’s interest to see a rapid U.S. withdrawal,” says Andrei Kortunov, director of the Russian International Affairs Council, which is affiliated with the Foreign Ministry, “since that would increase the threat of extremists coming to power in Kabul.”

Elephants don’t forget, and neither do the Russians.  https://www.businessinsider.com/32-year-anniversary-of-first-stinger-missile-use-in-afghanistan-2018-9

Wait.  How much did the CIA give the Taliban to kill Russians?  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Cyclone

What is the Taliban?  https://www.bbc.com/news/world-south-asia-11451718
