It is best to let the linked web site speak for itself, but in short, it helps explain how America got into its racist mess, and how difficult it is to get out of it. Apparently, it is not enough to not be racist, but we must make an effort to undo the damage of racism.
Thanks for the link!
It’s long felt to me that the best solutions will come from people who have learned how to reason correctly. That’s why my work is devoted to better teaching.

Anti- racism. This was on the PBS News last night. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/how-anti-racism-is-a-treatment-for-the-cancer-of-racism

I’ll start with the premise that if society collapses, racism will get way worse.
Based on that, I’ll claim that before you put energy into the truly worthy pursuit of attacking racism, you MUST become actively:
- anti-climate-change-denier
- anti-oligrachy

Interesting way to look at it. You mean you can’t be anti-racist if you’re okay with . . . https://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-02-23/the-costs-of-inequality-more-money-equals-better-health-care-and-longer-life

Zooming out, I guess what I’m driving at is that there are many ways each of us can choose to fight racism. The protestors and SJWs don’t have a lock on the only approved anti-racist behaviors.

Sounds good in theory, might feel different in the trenches.
Not to say that both of these issues are not important, but the immediacy of racial tensions and beatings may feel more weighty to those who are knee-deep in it.

As is normal, the press is sensationalizing this. IF not for the press, this wouldn’t be a statistically significant problem. (“This” being police shootings)

When ‘the press’ is based on fiduciary profit responsibility to share-holders, ‘it’ becomes less interested in truths, and more interested in clicks and views. Which is not to say that police brutality and police excessive force is not a problem for those who fall victim to it. I won’t presume to speak for others, but the general lack of accountability, or difficulty in finding accountability for those events that appear in the news suggests that there is a problem out there. Statistics don’t tell the whole story, especially in a culture rife with (perhaps toxic) secret-keeping solidarity for the in-group, and general disdain for the out-group.
Whether you care for others enough to feel outrage for the list of victims being made more public in recent days is not a me-problem. But the fact that that list exists, suggests there is a problem, or there are reforms that might make things better for all. If people die, there should be real consequences. There are for the public, there ought to be for police too.
