My dream scenario
Machiavelli wrote in “The Prince” that fortune is 50% effort and 50% random luck (good and bad). So with that, here is my post-election dream scenario.
Biden wins.
Trump doesn’t go quietly and is escorted out of office at the point of a Marine’s gun into a police car on charges of tax evasion.
Biden appoints Obama to the Supreme Court, and her husband, too.
Biden retires/dies in office, and a half-breed negro/dot-face woman becomes president.
McConnell is caught in a sleazy motel room wearing pink S&M leather with a tutu and heels while snorting lines of meth off the ass of an underage sex-trafficked boy bought with bribe money from Russian agents, while his husband spanks him with fresh tortillas. (I did say it is a dream.)

Imagine the wailing and gnashing if Biden retires and Harris is Prez…or MO sits on scotus… or both.

The plot of Interface somewhat resembles one of the subplots in Norman Spinrad’s Russian Spring. I’ll have to read it one of these years.

Biden is getting a Supreme Court Justice appointment now that Justice Breyer is retiring.
I’d like to propose alternate scenarios:
1. Biden provides a list of 10 black women to be a Justice and let the Senate chose one.
2. Biden nominates a centrist black woman, which the Republicans predictably reject. Biden nominates a more liberal black woman, which the Republicans predictably reject. Biden keeps nominating progressively liberal black women until the Republicans publicly declare their blatant racism won’t allow them to approve a black woman for Supreme Court Justice.
No Republican will vote for any Supreme Court judge Biden nominates regardless of the nominee’s demographics.
