Obama was hated in Israel, and Biden isn’t that well liked either. If the vote had been up to Israelis, Trump would have been re-elected.
At this point, a war with Iran can’t effect the outcome of the U.S. presidential election, and probably can’t provide Trump with a working excuse to stay in office after Jan 20. Trump could still start one nevertheless, to make Netanyahu, MBS and a few US hawks happy. What do people think the consequences would be?
There is nothing meaningful about anything Trump is doing these days and his erratic behaviour is downright dangerous. Criminal by any definition. And now his military advisors have reportedly been burdened with the task of talking him out of bombing an Iranian nuclear site. He’s the most ignorant terrorist I’ve ever seen.
Back in August, they dusted off wax figure Jared Kushner and trotted him out claiming he brought peace to the Middle East. Then, for the next seventeen nights in a row, Israel bombed the shit out of Palestine. Violating international laws and committing crimes against humanity. Again. It didn’t stop after seventeen nights. I just stopped counting. The ethnic cleansing continues.
Meanwhile, as the United States teeters along this vulnerable moment of history, China conducts military exercises (including the firing of ballistic missiles) around the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea.
The consequences for the world…are dire.
Netanyahu needs to go. He is going down as one of the most corrupt Israeli PM’s in a long time. We can support Israel’s right to exist without dirtying our hands with their current government’s questionable practices. I’m just hoping Biden can restore some balance, if anything is left when he finally becomes President.
One of the key activities of this commission is identifying places where people are buried in Central and Eastern Europe who have descendants living in the US… particularly those who died in the Holocaust.
