Last night while watching television, I happened upon the classic animated Christmas show, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Although I hadn’t seen it in decades, I knew most of the dialogue and songs by heart. This is because I had watched it so many times as a child, that I had memorized most of it.
Today, I unexpectedly happened upon a new Christmas video which I found on the internet. It too, is a story about reindeer. The tale is read by someone you will instantly recognize. I don’t want to give the surprise away.
I think it’s destined to go down as one of the great Christmas classics of all time.
Since I’m recommending videos, I found another online show which I think is worth checking out. It’s based out of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is a local news program featuring investigative reporter, Fred Sassy.
For such a low budget and modest program, I had no idea that television journalism could be done in so captivating a way.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but some of the local people of Cheyenne look surprisingly familiar. Check it out.
