So much for “white men can’t jump”, or run fast. It’s mainly a matter of nurture, not nature. A few years back the fastest woman in the 200 meters was a white Dutch girl, Dafne Schippers. Things are starting to even out, I think.

Agreed. Nurture has a huge part to play in our development, starting from pre-natal nutrition and wellbeing to childhood development in a rich nutritive environment with appropriate physical and mental development patterns, and emotional well-being.
And the map(s) to ability is/are so complex that jumping to any conclusion based on partial or biased reads of the evidence is just silly.

It’s both (nature/nurture). The main thing though is that the genetic component is not predicated on race… since race has no genetic definition.
Genes play a role, but there’s no evidence linking those genes to race.
