Someone who goes by the name of Estock on another board posted the following:

“As an example the Revised Standard Version of the Old Testament has 831 pages. Of the 897 violent passages listed by Skeptic’s Annotated Bible 769 of those passages are in the Old Testament. That is virtually one violent passage per page. Many of those passages are several verses long. Ergo most of the Old Testament is not fit for human consumption. And we keep this text as a guide for society because….?

The Skeptic’s Annotated Bible also lists 425 passages that are examples of god’s intolerance.

There are 255 passages that reveal god’s violent misogyny, 878 passages that expose god’s injustice, and 840 examples of absurdities. That all sums to 3167 problems within these 831 pages. When you put all of this together we have a book that is beyond morally bankrupt. Moderately useful as a paper weight perhaps but not fit for human consumption.”
